Watlington is a thriving town with several small shops including minimarket, butchers, cafe/deli, library, gift shops etc. and a fruit and veg market 3 days a week. For dining we have fish & chips, Indian restaurant/takeaway and three pubs all serving food to different standards, sample menus are available in Reception.

On the edge of the town is an outdoor green gym, skate park, children’s play park and playing fields.

The Ridgeway Trail/Icknield Way runs alongside the campsite and makes a great start for a gentle walk or if you want something more energetic you can head off up into the hills. Walk maps are available in Reception.
